Hey YouTube, it’s your girl AJ. In this mini Antigua travel vlog, I’m taking y’all with me for a real “day in Antigua” moment—starting at the beach. I’m at Dickenson Bay and the water is literally that pretty blue, super clear, and the view is just amazing. And honestly, I loved that it wasn’t super duper hot because y’all… I can’t do hot weather. I showed the chairs, the umbrellas, the volleyball court, the bar on the beach, and even the jet skis and boats out on the water. I grabbed a rum punch (and yes, it was strong for sure) and just relaxed because I was this close to falling asleep on the chairs. I thought about going on the jet ski, but it started to rain and I was like, “fuck it,” plus the water was a tad bit cold and that’s not my type of thing. Then I got some jerk chicken and fries and it was really, really good. After the beach, I walked the streets to see a cathedral/church, popped into a museum to look at different cultural items, and ended the day at a little market with souvenirs. I’m not really a souvenir type of person, and I even checked a jewelry store for jade but they didn’t have it—so I left empty-handed and headed back to my room.
