Tracktion Waveform 11 Techniques: The Tracktion Waveform Edit Cursor (Video 1)

Introduced in Waveform 10 the edit cursor follows mouse pointer movement in the arrangement separately from the play back cursor. This allows editing without needing to change the position with in the song. In addition this allows editing without stopping playback. The edit cursor also allows you to set the In and Out markers using the I and O shortcuts. If you prefer not to use the edit cursor, go to Settings | General and deselect “use the edit cursor position for editing operations”.
