This video explains using range selection in Tracktion Waveform. The demo is done using Waveform 11. Starting with Waveform 10 you can select a range over clips or tracks. To do this, hold down Shift + Opt / Shift + Alt while dragging over the selection. Drag from one of the clip headers to move the range. Hold Cmd / Ctrl to copy the range. Use Cmd + X / Ctrl + X to cut the range. You can also set the In and out markers for the loop using the range. This is done by creating a macro. In the video I show how to add the basic action “Set Loop Range from Selected Range” to a macro and assign it to Opt + L / Alt+ L .
