Groove Doctor is a feature of the Pro edition of Waveform. The Groove Doctor feature of Waveform 11 gives you a very clear workflow to create a tempo map. Many projects start with files that were recorded without a click. Files that don't line up to the bars and beats of the timeline are much more difficult to work with for editing and composing. Using Waveform's Groove Doctor, you identify the first beat of each bar of music then click one button to apply all the small tempo changes to the tempo track. After this you can continue composing with a matching metronome click or add loops that time stretch to conform to this varying tempo.
