Did you ever wonder about the MIDI Note Colour options on the Appearance page of the Settings tab in Waveform? These settings allow you to do four things: 1. Shade the background of the piano roll to where the light gray notes are in key and the dark gray notes are out of key. 2. Make MIDI notes that are "in-key" appear Blue * 3. Make MIDI notes that are out-of-key appear Red * 4. Make MIDI notes are part of the current chord appear Green * These features coordinate settings of the key signature, the Chord Track, and the MIDI Editor to give you a powerful color coded reference to use when editing and composing with MIDI notes! Learn how it all works in this video! * You can adjust these to different colors if you prefer
