Sunset Pink: Any bright pink, try Opera, Permanent Rose or Quinacridone with any warm clear yellow, try Indian, Aureolin, Azo, or a Cadmium deep,Transparent Yellow, even an Orange • 2. Storm Clouds: Any pink (see 1.) and Payne's Grey • 3. Gray-Green: Lemon (or any yellow) and Payne's Grey. For greyed colors use lemon, for khakis and olives use a warmer yellow • 4. Lavender: Any pink with Cerulean Blue • 5. Light Neutrals: Small amounts of Lemon, Pink and Cerulean with lots of water • 6. Wheat Yellow: Neutralise any cool yellow such as Lemon, Hansa or Cadmium light with a Blue-Violet purple • 7. Natural Sand: Raw Umber and Yellow Ochre • 8. Cool Bark/Earth: Start with Burnt Umber, and add Ultramarine Blue • 9. Dark Roads and Roofs: Payne's Grey and Oxide Red. Oxide reds may also be labelled any of the following: Light Red, Venetian Red, English Red, Indian Red and vary from brick orange through to red-burgundy • 10. Fresh Natural Greens: Mix mid-range bright yellows with your Phthalo Blue.
