I picked up Marc Jacobs Perfect Absolute because the caramelized fig note had me intrigued and the bottle is genuinely one of the prettiest fall releases I’ve seen. On my skin the opening went a little cherry/medicine-like, but the dry down turns sultry with jasmine and that warm, glowing amber Marc Jacobs does so well—so it’s still worth testing in-store.

- -Opening can read medicinal/cough syrup on skin
