There are absolutely no fundamentals to back up a $180 BILLION market ca[ increase in a few short months. But there are some very interesting trends going on in the electric car industry, and Not Just with Nikola Motors (What some people say is the next Tesla). Tesla was the number one bought stock on Robinhood in the last month, PLUS all the brokerages like TD Ameritrade, Charles Schwab, and Robinhood announced they are seeing record numbers of new investors trading. The influx of new investors, INVEST IN TESLA buying into the future of electronic cars one of the main reasons Tesla's stock has skyrocketed. These new investors simply aren't looking at fundamentals. Tesla q2 earnings come out tomorrow and they can have a HUGE impact on the future of Tesla. If Tesla posts a positive earnings in the Tesla investor call, which they likely will for the reasons discussed in the video Tesla will join the S&P500, further pushing its stock higher. According to the Harvard research study summarized in the video Tesla's stock is bound to see at least a 40% decrease as Tesla stock is overvalued. Weather you buy or sell Tesla stock is up to you, but personally I will not be buying Tesla until there is a more reasonable valuation. Buying to an overvalued stock is the definition of FOMO, which burns a lot one investors.
