The Becker BK14 (Escobar) is my favorite EDC fixed blade because it gives me more blade than an Izula while still carrying small. It’s 1095 Cro-Van, gets razor sharp, and it’s super slicey—just keep it oiled or it’ll rust in humidity.

- +Easy to sharpen and holds an edge well
- +Extended scales make the handle feel much better
Cons
- -1095 can rust if you don’t keep it oiled
- -Factory sheath is kind of fat and the neck setup is awkward
- -Stock handle is small without upgraded scales
