This is the Amazon link for the Gen #1 Mellif dethatcher/scarifier I’m using. For a battery dethatcher, it’s one of the only decently priced options that actually performs—pulls itself up the hill and does a ton of yard on two 4Ah packs.

- +Runs on two DeWalt batteries (and I’ve used Hercules too)
- +Lightweight with carry handle
- +Height adjustment
- +Includes dethatcher and scarifier blade
Cons
- -Grass bin fills up too fast to be useful
- -May require jerry-rigging for non-supported 18V batteries
