Beautiful but has an edge to it! Bordeaux, France walking tour through the old town, riverfront, and city highlights — come along with us as we explore some of the most famous sights in Bordeaux. Bordeaux gave us a mix of grand architecture, deep history, waterfront beauty, and some rougher corners we did not expect. From the Great Bell and Saint Andrew’s Cathedral to the Grand Theater, the Girondins Monument, the Water Mirror, and the old Royal Square, this Bordeaux travel vlog takes us on foot through one of France’s most elegant and historic cities. Starting from our Staycity Aparthotel Bordeaux City Centre, we walk to the Great Bell, the bell tower beside Saint Andrew’s Cathedral, Saint Andrew’s Cathedral, the City Hall area, Saint Catherine Street, the Grand Theater of Bordeaux, the famous steak restaurant with the long line, the Girondins Monument, the main river, the Port of the Moon, the riverfront promenade, the Water Mirror, the old Royal Square, Parliament Square, Saint Peter’s Church, the old riverside gate, the rainbow crosswalk, the southern gate, the obelisk, the bronze turtles, and Victory Square before making our way back to the hotel. This turned into one of those walking days where Bordeaux felt elegant, interesting, and very real all at the same time.
