Keeping houseplants can get very expensive, some can be $70 - $80 each! by the time you have 10 you have spent a whole heap of cash! Luckily the houseplant hobby doesn't have to be expensive, in this video, I explain some other ways to get the same plants at a fraction of the price, as little as $2.99. My Bluestar Fern cost me just £2.50 which is around $4.00 and it's a good size and very healthy example, it will take a few years to become the size of my £30 mature Blue Star Fern but it will still look amazing while it's growing, so if you don't have the money to invest in big mature houseplants you can still get involved and enjoy the hobby at a cheaper level.
