If you want to follow along with this Portulacaria Afra Variegata Bonsai project you can grab your own little cutting here: https://geni.us/Portulacaria-Afra In this video, I am repotting the small Portulacaria Afra cutting I bought on the internet a few months ago, I plan to grow this into a bonsai and document the process all the way through, if you would like to grab your own small cutting and follow along we can grow them together! They are a succulent, member of the crassula family and are also known as the dwarf jade as they are essentially a small-leaved jade. They should be cared for as succulent so allowed to dry out completely in between watering and watered sparingly in the winter. They make good indoor bonsai as they like the warm dry climate unlike European species of Bonsai that should be kept outside to achieve the ideall environment.
