Today's patient at the houseplant hospital is a Croton (Codiaeum MRS Iceton) that has caught a cold and lost most of its leaves. It is a 21cm pot and had 5 or 6 stems, all but one stem has died off but I've been able to catch it in time and the main stem is still healthy enough for me to grow back some more leaves. The remaining leaves are not very attractive but I'm hoping the new leaves will be more interesting and attractive. With a more stable temperature and good sunlight this Croton should come back to full health and I will do an update to show if the new leaves make it into a beautiful houseplant or if it's still an ugly duckling!
