My 15-year-old Cork Bark Elm bonsai needs some pruning! It's overgrown and is shading out the smaller inner branches and looking a bit shabby so today I'm doing some seasonal maintenance so I can prune the new growth back that will promote back-budding lower down on the branches and create a nicer looking tree with leaves growing closer to the trunk. It's easy to do with simple tools, jus snip the branches back to two leaf nodes. A quick tidy up of any weeds growing in the bonsai soil and she's looking much better than before, in just a few months I will show you an update when the new leaves have back-budded. Please give this video a thumbs up if you have found it interesting or helpful. Thanks!
