Buy Chinese Evergreen Here: https://geni.us/ChineseEvergren Today I want to do a care guide for the Chinese Evergreen houseplant, I’ve been growing this plant for just under a year now and when I first received this it looked very different, it had just three leaves left and was looking pretty sad, like many plants I get given it had been overwatered and under cared for but no fear, I’ve given it some TLC. I must admit I was quite indifferent about this plant when I received it, I thought it was quite boring looking to be honest, but now it’s had a chance to show what it can do I’ve definitely changed my mind! The variegation on the leaves is beautiful, the shape and curl to them make it look very majestic and in another year when it really starts to get big, I think this will be quite a special plant. What I love about this Chinese Evergreen is how easy it is to look after, after the initial month of sulking it’s just kept producing leaves, even through the colder and low light period of the winter it’s still produced two more leaves, it’s done really well and is not a fussy plant. So here is my care guide for this plant: Watering: Keep it moist, water when soil is starting to dry out but try not to let it dry out completely. Light: Low filtered light all the way up to bright indirect light – (not direct) Temp: Average room temps Pet Friendly? – Toxic to humans and pets if ingested. (Don’t eat it!) Humidity: Prefers a humid environment Soil Type: Prefers free draining mix with added perlite
