Accidental Spring Flowering Hyacinth Potting

This can happen when you're keeping bulbs until next year if you aren't organised and don't label your bulbs to help identify them and keep a note of what you have and when to plants them up. A garden dairy is a good idea to keep track of what you have and plan for the following year, you can make a note in the following March to pot up the Hyacinth bulbs stored under the potting bench for example, then when I check what I have to do for the coming month I will see what I had written the year before. It pays to stay organised when you have several things planned for each season otherwise you end up like me with pots of plants that you can't even remember what is in them!
