Happy Vlogmas Day 22! Today was one of those cozy, productive December days where I’m bouncing between little holiday traditions and getting ready for hosting. I start with my advent calendars (the crunchy chocolate is still not my jam, but it was yummy), and I unbox a super cute little water bottle lip gloss holder—pink candy cane vibes, very cutesy. Then I jump into putting together “burr baskets” for my friends, but I’m doing mine in the cutest gingerbread mugs from Michaels instead of actual baskets (and yes, I love the tiny little cross detail on them). I fill the mugs with fun goodies like Laneige minis, Trader Joe’s boozy chocolate, Ghirardelli holiday chocolates, Patchology eye patches, Touchland sanitizer, and SweetTarts candy canes. I wrap everything up in adorable holiday bags and add Target socks (they didn’t fit in the mugs, so I tucked them beside). After cleaning up my wrapping mess, I make my brother’s requested Christmas treat: Oreo truffles. I walk through the texture I look for (no white streaks from the cream cheese!), chill the mixture, roll and dip them, and I even mix in a few pink ones since I ran out of white chocolate—pink mist moment. Plus, I share a little peek at my Christmas Eve hosting plan and my lasagna must-have: you need Polly-O or I cannot confirm your lasagna will be as amazing as ours.
