Happy Vlogmas Day 15! In today’s vlog I’m getting all festive and ready for a night at Ballet Arizona’s Nutcracker at Symphony Hall here in Phoenix (the same place we went for the Phoenix Symphony). I share my full holiday outfit details—including my red lip combo, bow earrings, my Unique Vintage dress (yes, it has pockets), and the cutest velvet bag my mom found at TJ Maxx that matched my headband from last year. It was one of those perfect “holiday night out” vibes, and I love when I can re-wear pieces I genuinely look forward to every season. Before the ballet, we went to dinner at the Hyatt Regency at Barrel & Bushel. I kept it simple with a side Caesar and their side mac and cheese (it was recommended to me and it had a little kick—so good), plus some yummy appetizers. The ballet itself was absolutely beautiful, and going to the Nutcracker isn’t just a show for us—it’s a family tradition that’s been going on for about 20 years. We ended the night back home in comfies with my baby, doing advent calendars, and then I had to jump into editing mode before work the next day… which is always the part of Vlogmas where I’m like, I really don’t want to have to work.
