Happy Vlogmas Day 10, you guys. Today starts with my advent treat moment (and yes, I notice when the box patterns change), and I ended up with a dark chocolate marshmallow-caramel combo that I honestly didn’t expect to love as much as I did. Then it was off to work—December always makes me want to do anything but work, but we need the money for the fun Christmas stuff, right? I also did my usual coffee run because I keep trying to branch out and I always come crawling back to the same drink… it’s just the best and my brain is not fully connecting without it. The real highlight of going into the office is getting to see the pup pups. I talk about Lola (extra fluffy after grooming), plus Mr. Darcy and Zoe—my sweet sheepadoodle babies that I’ve basically helped raise at the office. I share my biggest potty-training tip too: praise, praise, praise. After work, I do a grocery haul with some very “Pinkmas” finds (pink Santa cookies!) and I grab holiday paper plates because I’m all about enjoying more time with family instead of being stuck washing dishes forever. For dinner, I keep it simple with a Trader Joe’s Thai crunch salad—just upgraded with my dad’s grilled chicken (and Holly gets the boiled chicken, because of course she does). Then we end the day with multiple packages arriving, meaning wrapping is officially in my near future.
