This Emulex dual-port SFP+ card was my whole motivation for the rebuild—I grabbed it cheap on eBay and it’s a great value for 10GbE. On the old Biostar board it wouldn’t even let the system POST, but on the Supermicro platform it came right up and negotiated at 10,000 Mb/s.
