SourceLab is $119 and well worth it to me because it makes sound designing fun and simple. You can start with presets (1300-ish), then layer sources, chop/reverse loops, add filters and effects, and even save your own custom presets. The sequencer/MIDI workflow is the cherry on top because you can create and edit while you’re hearing the sound.
