The 2026 Holberg Prize is awarded to Professor Lyndal Roper for her pioneering research on early modern European history. Danish psychologist Majse Lind is awarded the 2026 Nils Klim Prize for her interdisciplinary research into mental health. The Prizes will be conferred by Minister of Research and Higher Education Sigrun Aasland. This event is part of the 2026 Holberg Week, which takes place from 1 to 4 June, in Bergen, Norway.
