Today’s PSA return for Pokémon and One Piece TCG got me thinking about my overall card grading strategy and why I like buying cheap cards for grading. A lot of people chase the obvious expensive cards, but I’m usually looking for cards that feel underappreciated, undervalued, or just mispriced for what they are. If the entry cost is low and the upside is high, that’s the kind of grading play I like. In this video I talk through my PSA return, grading decisions, and why I think some of the best opportunities in the hobby come from cards most people overlook. Sometimes the biggest PSA 10 returns come from cards that didn’t look special to everyone else at first. I also talk about patience, diversification, market cycles, and why you don’t need every grading play to work for the strategy to make sense.
