What the Great Pyramid Inscriptions Reveal

The summit and entrance of the Great Pyramid are covered in graffiti from the past six centuries. The universal desire of humans to leave their mark upon history has caused the Great Pyramid to receive an enormous quantity of inscriptions. All of the ancient graffiti on the Great Pyramid has been lost to time, but what does the modern graffiti teach us about the role of the Great Pyramid throughout Antiquity? This video examines the full history of writings on the Great Pyramid, with testimonies spanning the ages all the way back to Herodotus. Testimonies of Great Pyramid inscriptions are scrutinized, and the patterns of human behavior reveal why we see graffiti on some pyramids more than others.
