I Tested Insta360 Luna Ultra: Found a Few Issues.

However, there are a few issues with the insta360 Luna Ultra that I hope can be addressed via firmware. I spent the last 3 days testing the Luna Ultra during a recent camping and fishing trip. I was able to test out a few basic things as I work towards my full review. First, this is a windy day here, and I was very impressed by the internal microphones and the wind canceling feature. With gusts up to 40 mph it honestly impressed me how awesome this sounds, even in those adverse conditions. Its incredible up 6x optical zoom and a 12 x digital zoom. The worlds first in regards to this type of hybrid handheld camera having a wide 20 MM lens and a telephoto lens. The wide end has an aperture of 1.8 and the telephoto has a 2.0 aperture. One of it biggest weaknesses is also the Zoom. There seems to be some weird shift when you zoom in. And while you are zooming seems to produce a blurry image in zoom that then stops and refreshes the image. It ends up looking decent at the end of the optical and digital zoom but in process of the zoom it does not look that great. I have not heard other reviewers talking about this one at all. There are a few more issues inside, but I want to be clear, I like this camera, I like it a ton, but I need a few more weeks until I produce my final review. This is so that if you are considering buying the Insta360 Luna Ultra you have all the data to make a buying decision.
