San Diego Comic-Con 2025 was packed with surprises, big reveals, and some seriously awesome fan moments. While Marvel and DC skipped the usual Hall H chaos, James Gunn lit up the room during the Peacemaker Season 2 panel—yes, John Cena showed up in costume—and dropped some big hints about where the DCU is heading, especially with Superman. One of the biggest surprises? George Lucas made his first-ever Hall H appearance to talk about the upcoming Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, and the crowd went wild. With the big studios taking a step back, it gave room for fan-favorite projects to shine. Coyote vs. Acme had a hilarious, in-character panel that fans loved. We also got exciting updates on Avatar: Seven Havens, Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires, Predator: Badlands, the new Rick and Morty spin-off President Curtis, and more Star Trek content like Starfleet Academy. Amazon also brought the heat with the animated series The Mighty Nein. This year’s Comic-Con felt like it was made for the fans, and we’re here for it.
