DIY Camper Life : Catfshing and Ham Radio at Martin Creek Sate Park

Looking for a relaxing camping trip idea, even if the fish don’t bite? In this video, I head out for a weekend of bank fishing, ham radio (POTA), and camping in my DIY 5x8 utility trailer camper. I set up camp at a beautiful state park, tried to catch some catfish from the bank, and activated a Parks on the Air (POTA) location with my portable ham radio setup. No catfish this time, but that’s not what it’s all about — it’s about being outside, cooking a good meal, making a few radio contacts, and kicking back with my dog, Buster. I even share a couple of things I forgot on this trip (hint: no pillow = rough sleep).
