Kurog Grimtotem Raid Guide - Normal/Heroic Kurog Vault of the Incarnates Boss Guide

Kurog Grimtotem Normal and Kurog Grimtotem Heroic guide! Kurog is a Primalist raid boss in the Vault of the Incarnates raid of Dragonflight. This boss guide for Kurog Grimtotem will walk you through the important healer, tank and DPS raid mechanics you need to clear this Vault of the Incarnates raid boss. Special thanks to the Icelandic Gustavo Force for the raid testing groups! Kurog has many different abilities depending on which element he's attuned with. Moving him near one of the four altars in the boss rom (Fire, Frost, Storm and Earth) will empower Kurog with moves of that element. When he reaches 100 energy, he'll have an immunity intermission and summon a pair of adds based on his two most recent altars. Altars ramp raid damage the longer you're at them, so ideally you spend equal time at each to minimize excess raid damage. None of the mechanics are difficult to learn on the Kurog fight, there's just a lot of them. Interrupt, dodge, soak, stack and spread your way through the various elements. The most dangerous parts of the Kurog Grimtotem fight are pulling him too near the middle (easy wipe), failing to get into the Freezing Tempest cast by the frost add, or failing the soaks. Put one person per soak in the Thunderstrike soaks at the storm altar, and have two big groups help absorb the Absolute Zero soaks. Don't overlap the Absolute Zero soaks on Kurog.
