Chimaerus Raid Guide - Normal and Heroic Dreamrift Boss Guide

Chimaerus Normal and Heroic raid guide! Chimaerus is the only boss of the Dreamrift raid in Midnight. This Chimaerus guide will walk you through the important healer, tank and DPS raid mechanics you need to clear this Dreamrift raid boss. You fight Chimaerus in two phases. In the main phase, the raid must split into two groups and take turns gaining Alnsight to fight adds in the Aln phase. With Alnsight, the group should gather adds, tank them away from the boss, and then DPS off their absorb shields. That will pop the add up to reality, where the remaining DPS must CC and kill them before they reach the boss and are Consumed. Avoid standing near the tank to stay out of frontal cones, outside of when it’s your turn to gain Alnsight from the Alndust Upheaval. In the air phase, avoid Chimaerus’ strafing run, gather and kill adds, and watch out for the shadow when Chimaerus lands again and returns to Phase 1. In the Heroic Dreamrift, Heroic Chimaerus gains the Consuming Miasma mechanic. Players with it should run to puddles and then get dispelled to clear the floor.
