Broodkeeper Diurna Normal and Broodkeeper Diurna Heroic guide! Diurna is an add-focused raid boss in the Vault of the Incarnates raid of Dragonflight. This boss guide for Broodkeeper Diurna will walk you through the important healer, tank and DPS raid mechanics you need to clear this Vault of the Incarnates raid boss. Special thanks to the Icelandic Gustavo Force for the raid testing groups! You fight Broodkeeper Diurna in two phases. You start in the main phase, with the goal to lower boss health, keep up on adds and break eggs before they hatch. Run to the Greatstaff when placed to get an extra action button, which one or possibly more players can use to induce a beam to chase them. Kite that beam into a nearby egg (it has a short duration and won't reach far) to shatter it. Prioritize nearby eggs that Diurna has used Rapid Incubation on to destroy them before they spawn Nascent Proto Drake adds. Waves of Primalist adds assist Diurna and do a variety of things. Most important, kick Ice Barrage from the Primalist Mages and Static Jolt from the Heroic Stormbringers. When all the eggs are down, lust and burn down the boss. Icy Shroud is an important Broodkeeper Diurna healer mechanic, requiring healers to dispel and heal off an absorb shield. The Phase Two version includes an attackable ice shard rooting players to the ground.
