5 Mistakes I Made Preparing for the ?? Nexus Princes Ky'veza Delve

Don’t make my Ky’veza delve boss mistakes! Five things I’d set up from the beginning in the battle against hard mode Nexus Princess Kyveza delve boss, the Nemesis boss for this season of TWW delves. Defeating her on the ?? difficulty during her season (before Midnight launches) will earn you the Contract Killer title, and doing it solo will award the Hyperdrive skin for the Delver’s Mana-Skimmer mount. You can find the Kyveza delve boss location in the outdoor Tazavesh on K’aresh, marked with the Delve entrance icon on your map. The doorway is behind a curtain. She has only a few mechanics, but failing any will wipe you. The blade lines on the ground must be dodged- aiming the camera top down and moving away from the origin point of the blades as they spawn helps. The Nether Portals must be spaced- see where Brann puts his, then pick an opposite cone to drop yours in a rough triangle from the other two. Then, move your character between them to be balanced during the pull. That’s a great time to get DPS in, as you can cast while being pulled. Also a good spot for a defensive, since the void portals hurt quite a bit. Kyveza’s Shadow Clone mechanic is famously dangerous- you must face your character towards each clone as it spawns to survive its charge. Watch the order that they come out and turn your character towards each in turn. Backing up as they come out to put all of the shadow clones on one side of you can help. The ‘Cup Game’ or ‘Barrel Game’ intermission is straightforward, if not easy. Identify the correct clone at the beginning, turn your camera angle to top-down and then follow it with your eyes as they swap places. Chat bubbles can help make the right clone clear at the start.
