I Went Birding on Skis at Alta Ski Resort

I brought out the birding gear along with me while... skiing?!? That's right I hit the slopes while also searching for some unique alpine birds. The day was honestly incredible. The weather was perfect, I saw some amazing species that are only found in the higher alpine regions, and enjoyed some skiing. Black Rosy-Finches, nuthatches, chickadees and more featured throughout this video! Alta Ski Resort has a very unique birding culture that overlaps slightly with the incredible skiing scene. In fact, there are monthly events where birding groups head out on skis!
