I go on an overnight birding adventure at one of the best birding spots in Utah, the Bear River Migratory Bird Refugee. The Bear River Migratory Bird Refugee is such an incredible location to go and see birds. It is an area of nearly 80,000 acres of habitat where the Bear River flows into the Great Salt Lake. This area being conserved is crucial for over 250 species of birds that use the refugee. If you are in Utah, it is certainly worth a stop! Check out more information on their website linked here: https://www.fws.gov/refuge/bear-river-migratory-bird Explanation of my 2024 Birding Challenge - https://youtu.be/OkQz0qhOBgo Birds of Utah is by Stan Tekiela and all credit goes for that goes to him and Adventure Publications for the book.
