It’s a simple, honest original called “Vesi Raat,” and I’m putting it out exactly the way it came to me in the moment. The idea was to keep it raw and direct, so you can just sit with the tune and feel the mood without overthinking it. The lyrics are written by my friend Harsh Parekh, and they’re connected to the year 2020—so the emotion behind it is very much from that time. This is one of those indie film music moments where a story starts forming only through sound: a melody first, then the meaning lands.
