Bloody Hallucinations is my experimental short film where I build tension purely through mood—voice, music, and the way words can feel both intimate and unsettling at the same time. In this piece, I lean into a poetic, almost hypnotic monologue that starts with admiration: “कितनी खूबसूरत और मासूम है तुम्हारी आंखें…”, “कितना खूबसूरत और छोटा नाक है तुम्हारा…”, “कितने घने और काले बाल है तुम्हारे…”. But under that softness, there’s a hint of closure and fear—“थोड़ा सा समापन और खौफ भी दिखता”—and that contrast is the core of the film. As a filmmaker and composer, I treat the soundtrack like the main character here. The music isn’t just background; it’s the pulse that turns compliments into something darker, like a hallucination you can’t fully trust. This short is also a reminder of how sound design and minimal dialogue can carry a story—sometimes a few lines and the right musical atmosphere are enough to make you feel everything without showing too much.
