Most of my in-wall stuff is Zooz Z‑Wave switches because Z‑Wave has been a really good fit for switches: good range and it’s been reliable. Pairing is a bit more annoying than Zigbee because you’re dealing with QR codes or PINs, and I ended up typing a ton of PINs. But once they were in and firmware-updated, they’ve been rock solid for me.

- +Supports scene/gesture events for automations (double-tap/hold)
Cons
- -Pairing can be tedious (PIN entry, QR method didn’t work for me)
- -Requires manual firmware updates if you want everything current
