This is the kind of adapter that actually changes your network setup: an SFP+ module that can take your fiber and let you bypass the ISP gateway. With the right firmware and configuration, I was able to remove my AT&T router from the chain, simplify things, and even see speed tests over a gig sometimes. It’s not the simplest project, but it’s easily my favorite thing from this video.
