I mentioned a Crucial 1TB SATA SSD because SATA SSDs still make a lot of sense for older compact servers like this. If I were actually deploying an R220-style box, I’d rather mirror a couple of SATA SSDs for the OS/VMs and keep bulk storage on a separate NAS.
