I used this Belkin Ethernet + power passthrough adapter to try to get wired networking and charging at the same time. The Ethernet side worked, but I only saw around ~230 Mbps (likely USB 2.0), and the bigger problem was power—my Xiaomi’s charging quirks made it basically incompatible for powering the phone through the adapter.

Cons
- -Power passthrough didn’t work with my Xiaomi due to charging protocol issues
