About This Video

In this video I’m showing you my fast, cinematic color grading workflow for DJI Osmo Action footage shot in D-Cinelike—right inside Premiere Pro. D-Cinelike can look pretty flat and “meh” straight out of the camera, but that’s exactly why I like it: it gives me room to push contrast, bring back clean colors, and get that moody, cinematic vibe without the image falling apart. I walk you through the basics (getting exposure and white balance in a good place first) and then the fun part—building a look that actually feels like a film, not just a random filter. I also share some of the small but important steps that make action-cam footage feel more expensive: controlling highlights, keeping skin tones natural, and not over-saturating everything into that GoPro-style candy look. To make it super easy, I’m using my own LUTs and I’m giving you 3 of them for free so you can get similar results in a few clicks, then fine-tune from there. If you want the exact “Hannes” look for your Osmo Action clips, this tutorial is basically my shortcut.
