In this video I’m looking ahead to West Ham vs Leeds United at the London Stadium, and it’s all about what a massive opportunity this is. Nuno’s had his press conference and, to be fair, I quite like how he does them now — not giving too much away, keeping our cards close to our chest, and making us read between the lines. The big talking point is Crysencio Summerville: he’s being assessed, and the key thing for me is Nuno hasn’t come out and said he’s unavailable. If he’s involved at all, I’m taking that as the medical staff believe he’s ready — because we can’t be taking unnecessary risks, but we’re also at the stage where every game feels must-win. I also talk about Mavropanos after hearing he took a knock to the head on international duty. With concussion rules being so strict now, it’s something that can’t be brushed off, and missing him (especially with other defensive issues) doesn’t even bear thinking about. Then there’s the bigger picture: why this cup tie matters. A semi-final at Wembley is up for grabs, and after the season we’ve had, a big day out for the fans — and for my boy especially — would be absolutely massive. Leeds sound like they’re going strong as well, so we’ve got to go for it and throw everything at getting to Wembley.
