About This Video

In this video I have a bit of fun and “play around with” the remaining Premier League fixtures to see what the final table could look like, especially in the relegation scrap. I start with this weekend because, honestly, it’s massive for us. I run through worst-case and best-case scenarios around West Ham vs Wolves on Friday night, plus what Tottenham, Leeds and Nottingham Forest might do. The big takeaway is simple: if we don’t win on Friday, it takes pressure off everyone else and it starts to feel like that first nail in the coffin. From there I go deeper and predict results right through to the penultimate game, looking at a few different paths the run-in can take. I factor in things like a potential Tottenham “new manager bounce”, Leeds having that Elland Road edge, and Forest having what I think is a really tough set of fixtures. I also revisit why that Forest 3-0 over Spurs hurt my confidence so much—because Forest are the team I’ve had my sights on as catchable from day dot. Finally, I build the scenario Gio’s been clinging onto: can we be within that “magic” two points of Leeds going into the last day? The answer is yes—if we do our job, starting with Friday night, and ideally go back-to-back with Palace as well.
