My First POTA Activation! Fort Parker State Park K-3010

I finally completed my first POTA (Parks On The Air) activation a few days ago! In this vlog, my friend Jereme – K5TXY and I headed out to Fort Parker State Park (K-3010) in Mexia, TX and activated POTA and camped for a night, and then finished out activation the next morning. We made several FT8 and SSB phone contacts all over the bands, and had a ton of fun! Not all of the contacts we made are shown in this video due to a lack of SD card space, camera batteries dying and trying to keep this video from being an hour long.
