🚨BIG CHANNEL UPDATE: KI5IRE is Now Ham Radio HQ!🚨 After two years on YouTube as KI5IRE Ham Radio, I’m officially rebranding the channel to Ham Radio HQ! Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey — nearly 3,000 subscribers and over 250,000 views later! Why the name change? I’ve always known I might apply for a vanity callsign (especially now that I’m learning CW and doing more contesting). KI5IRE is long in both phonetics and Morse, so I’m planning to switch to a shorter callsign — and I wanted the channel name to be ready when I apply for a vanity callsign in the near future. Ham Radio HQ will be the same great content — just with a new name, a fresh look and hopefully a faster growing community.
