Exploring Caves, Big Creatures, and a Uranium Node | Satisfactory Ep. 9

Episode 9 shifts focus away from factory construction and into exploration in this full playthrough of Satisfactory. Before heading out, I make a small improvement to my coal logistics by splitting the coal line before buffer storage, allowing coal to feed both storage and the Steel production line at the same time so the buffer can gradually fill. With that sorted, I build a new Tractor dedicated to exploration and head out to see what's hiding beyond the factory. Along the way I discover nearby caves, encounter several alien creatures; including a much stronger “Big” Alien Boar and multiple large spider variants (shown as orange and black "cats" thanks to Arachnophobia mode), and make my first real push into dangerous territory. Inside one of the larger cave systems I'm defeated by a Big Cat, forcing me to return and finish the fight later. Thankfully, with Keep Inventory enabled, the setback is more of a learning moment than a major loss. Deeper exploration eventually reveals something far more dangerous: a Uranium node, confirming that radiation protection will be needed before attempting to harvest it.
