This week was really about showing you what my life looks like after leaving software engineering—because even without a 9-to-5, I’m still working. I’m balancing creator work in NYC, brand projects, and getting back into coding in a way that actually feels fun again. I talk through why I don’t really do “hardcore” software engineering videos anymore (they’re honestly boring to make, and I’m not in that world day-to-day), but I still love building—especially when it connects to the tech lifestyle I’m living right now. On the home side, I’m making changes to my desk setup and using a Mac-compatible app called Furnish Master to mock up different office layouts before I commit to anything. It’s weirdly relaxing, and once I turned off grid snapping, I could finally place floating shelves the way I wanted. On the coding side, I’m starting iOS development again in Xcode and leaning into “build first, fail fast” instead of getting stuck watching a 14-part tutorial series. I also share what I’m doing for fitness (half marathon training, MyFitnessPal, Apple Watch Ultra battery life), plus some real-life NYC stuff—groceries, cooking, and how I’m trying to keep structure while my career keeps evolving.
