What's up, everyone! I've been daily driving the iPhone 17 Pro Max the past few weeks, and the overall experience has been great. This entire video is shot on an iPhone, and in this day in the life, we test the battery, and the new rear 48 MP cameras. About This Video

I’ve been daily driving the iPhone 17 Pro Max in Cosmic Orange for a few weeks, and in this video I wanted to do something simple but real: shoot a full day only on the phone. No mirrorless cameras, no rigs—just the 17 Pro Max while I travel from Brooklyn to Newport, Rhode Island for car week. Along the way I’m testing the stuff that actually matters when you’re outside all day: battery life, heat management in direct sunlight, and what the new rear 48MP cameras can do across ultra-wide, main, and telephoto. I start in Greenpoint—Rhythm Zero is still one of my favorite coffee spots—then I run a quick zoom test and the new 4x optical (120mm equivalent) is already becoming one of my favorite focal lengths. Once we hit Cars & Coffee in Newport, I’m cycling through lenses, shooting both 48MP JPEG and 48MP RAW, and leaning on iPhone’s natural look and Styles (still my favorite camera feature on any phone). I also keep tabs on the battery while I’m doing power-user stuff—RAW, log, ProRes, maps, Bluetooth hopping between cars—and even with screen dimming after hours in the sun, I didn’t plug in until around 7:30 p.m. Honestly, it feels like the most capable Pro Max yet for creators who actually push their phones.
