Without Yapping, Here's How To Make Particles Transition in After Effects. First open Adobe After Effects on your computer and wait for the program to load completely. After the workspace appears, create a new composition to begin your project. Set the composition settings you need, then confirm to open the timeline. Next, import your video clips from your computer into the project panel. After the clips have been imported, place both clips in the timeline in the order you want them to appear. Overlap the clips slightly so the transition area is created between them. Once the clips are arranged, create a new solid layer from the layer menu and place it above the clips in the timeline. After creating the solid layer, apply the CC Particle World effect to it from the Effects & Presets panel. Open the effect controls and position the emitter in the center of the composition. This will make the particles generate from the middle of the screen. Next, increase the Birth Rate so more particles appear during the transition. After that, adjust the Velocity settings to control how fast the particles move outward. Increase or decrease the values until the movement looks correct. Then change the particle size to make the particles larger or smaller depending on the style you want. After setting the size, change the animation type to fade out so the particles disappear smoothly over time. Next, animate the particles during the overlap section of the clips by adding keyframes to the Birth Rate or other settings. Increase the particles at the start of the transition and lower them near the end. As the particles spread across the screen, reveal the second clip behind the particles so the scene changes smoothly. If needed, add motion blur to make the particle movement look softer and more natural. Enable motion blur in the layer and composition settings if required. After completing the setup, preview the transition by playing the timeline from the beginning. Watch carefully to make sure the particles appear at the correct time and the second clip is revealed smoothly. Adjust any settings or keyframes if needed. Once everything looks correct, add the composition to the Render Queue. Check the output settings if necessary, then click Render to export the final video. Your particles transition is complete.
