Without Yapping, Here's How To Make Airplane Transition in After Effects. First open Adobe After Effects on your computer and wait for the program to load completely. After the workspace appears, create a new composition to begin your project. Set the composition settings you need, then confirm to open the timeline. Next, import two clips from your computer into the project panel. After the clips have been imported, place both clips in the timeline in the order you want them to appear. Overlap the clips slightly so the transition area is created between them. Once the clips are arranged, import an airplane image or icon into the project panel. Drag the airplane layer into the timeline and place it above both clips so it becomes visible over the transition. After placing the airplane layer, select it in the timeline. Press P on the keyboard to open the Position property. Enable keyframes by clicking the stopwatch next to Position. This creates the first keyframe at the current playhead location. Place the airplane on one side of the screen as the starting position. Next, move the playhead forward to the point where the transition should finish. Then move the airplane to the opposite side of the screen by changing the Position value. A new keyframe will be created automatically, causing the airplane to fly across the frame during playback. After creating the movement, add Motion Blur to the airplane layer so the motion looks smoother and faster. Enable Motion Blur for the layer and activate it in the timeline controls. Next, add a white trail behind the airplane by creating a shape layer or solid layer and placing it behind the airplane. Adjust the trail so it follows the flight path and stretches across the screen. As the airplane moves, use the airplane movement and trail to hide clip one by covering the outgoing scene. Then reveal clip two as the airplane passes across the screen. After completing the setup, preview the result by playing the timeline from the beginning of the overlap. Watch carefully to make sure the airplane flies smoothly, the trail hides the first clip properly, and the second clip appears at the correct time. Adjust any keyframes or layers if needed. Once everything looks correct, add the composition to the Render Queue. Click Render to export the final video.
